Welcome to Superhero Jacked. You're officially a member of The SHJ Army.
What started as a one-man-team mixing his love for superheroes, video games, anime, and all things nerd culture...with his love for fitness, nutrition and unleashing his inner superhuman....soon developed into an entire community coming together to create what is now SHJ.

I'm Mike Romaine.
SHJ's Nick Fury and Founder of All Things Awesome.
My Mission Is To Unleash As Many Superhumans Into The World As Possible
Over 5 years ago I set out to combine my two passions: fitness and nerdom.
Way before that I was personal training private clients, and actually being paid well, but I couldn't stand the constant salesy BS hidden behind every pitch. Not to mention the fact that I felt I could offer the same awesomeness in a way that didn't cost $100 a SESSION.
Yes, that's literally A SESSION.
Multiply that by 2-4 sessions a week, and then 4 weeks....
And, just to put that into perspective, our Academy, which is the backbone of the entire site and our philosophy, costs less than ONE SESSION of what I charged when I was coaching privately.
Crazy. I know....
Thankfully, another one of my passions is writing. I actually graduated from Stony Brook University with a Bachelors in English (and a Minor in History and Business, if anyone cares), because I was originally going to school to become an English Teacher!
So, I decided to take the leap and see if I can help people in a super fun way, without the BS, while also keeping allowing them to unleash their inner Superhuman and unlock The Hollywood Physique.
I also decided I wanted to cut the price tag, which was SO MUCH MONEY, and consistently as well.

WHAT IS SHJ?
At it's very core, SHJ is a place that helps nerds and awesome people unleash their inner Superhumans and unlock The Hollywood Physique.
We allow people to do that by researching (what is now hundreds and hundreds) celebrities day to day regimes, workouts, and nutrition, and then sharing that with you to replicate. We also build workouts inspired by your favorite characters to motivate and inspire you to keep training and keep your transformation going.
We also have tons of information on how to train, how to diet (and why), when to adapt, and so much more.
Whether you've come here to find a workout routine (which is likely), or need some more information on how to start your journey: you've come to the right place.
At SHJ we have a specific philosophy which comes from what we've learned from all of our research throughout the years.
THE SHJ PHILOSOPHY
Our philosophy is based on the fact that we push for sustainability within our training and nutrition.
We feel that without shooting for sustainability you're immediately working against yourself.
Here's a scary fact for you:
Nearly NINETY PERCENT of people who lost weight gain it back.
We don't want you to join that statistic, which is why we build every single one our our programs, especially our Superhero Academy, around helping you find the most sustainable regime for YOU specifically.
We allow people to do that by researching (what is now hundreds and hundreds) celebrities day to day regimes, workouts, and nutrition, and then sharing that with you to replicate. We also build workouts inspired by your favorite characters to motivate and inspire you to keep training and keep your transformation going.
That means we also:
One: Believe in finding the best workout that fits your goal, but also the best workout that fits YOU (and YOUR preferred style).
Two: Do not discriminate diets. I've guinea pig tested over half a dozen and I'm here to tell you that they can all work. It really just depends on YOU. What it comes down to is whether or not a specific diet is right for you, so we test them and teach them all in conjunction with our main pillars.
Three: Believe in adaptability when it comes to training and dieting. Life changes. Your goals change. When this happens you need to be able to adapt with your style and your plan. And we have the next thousand options for you.
Four: Believe that failure is just a learning experience. With fitness and nutrition it's often a good thing to fail. That means you can scratch that plan and diet off your list and move onto the next. Adapt, learn and get ready to find your perfect plan.
Five: Cut the bullsh*t. We don't push OUR specific training method, or OUR specific diet down your throat and try to tell you that it's the only way, and the one true secret to fat loss and muscle gains. We do have a Superhuman Diet we teach people, among other nutrition plans; and we do have our go-to training options...but we have them mixed in among thousands of other options for you to find what is best for YOU.
HOW THIS WORKS
At the end of this page I'm going to ask you to connect with us on social, and I'm also going to give you an opportunity to request workouts and even collaborate with us if you'd like.
That being said, I should tell you what goes into the creation of our workout routines here at SHJ.
On the site it seems fairly obvious if you've read a couple routines, but we do get asked a lot on the YouTube Channel (people aren't always quick to click the link and find out), so if you're coming from there, or just new to SHJ, this might help you out.
HOW WE RESEARCH AND CREATE OUR WORKOUT ROUTINES:
Step One: First and foremost I start by prepping and scouring the internet for interviews with the celebrity, or even their trainer. This can be anything from an interview with Muscle and Fitness, Women's Health Mag, or even video interviews that I'm able to find (sometimes after a long search) somewhere on the internet.
For characters you can see that within our regular character inspired workouts they're based on the characters overall lore, abilities, and power; and for the cosplay themed workouts they're based more on the overall physique and appearance of the character.
Step Two: We piece together any and all of that information so that the most relevant parts get shared within the article, and the rest gets stored within our own personal research.
If there's little to no information on a specific celebrities training and/or diet, but you guys have requested said celebrity countless times, I share that we don't have enough information to go on, but I build the routine on what we do have, and their overall physique, stats and appearance.
Step Three: We put it all together. Sometimes I'm lucky enough to find some exact details into a FULL routine. But, for the most part it's scattered up into little pieces in a number of different interviews. That means it has to be put together like a puzzle based on what I was able to find. That's step three.
Step Four: Celebrities routines are ever-changing. They adapt just like we teach you to adapt within our Academy and programs. For that reason we are constantly updating routines. On a daily basis older articles are being updated with new information that is shared by celebrities. You'll find countless celebrities have a second variation to their workout routines, a lot of the time even with a second section of research added. We also have updated information in the form of Exclusive Celebrity Workout Packets within our Academy.
Side Note: If you've been a member of SHJ for years now you might now that we sometimes like to re-use some of the best workout routines on the site. Of course, we also share those routines from the past for others to find, and we even have listicles and a full database to help you scour through older routines; but sometimes there are still some gems hidden in there. So, sometimes, now that we're well over 500+ workout routines on the site, we share a slightly different variation of an older workout routine that was extremely effective for other members. This only takes place on character workouts, and only when it fits perfectly, but it is important to share.
Please note that all our workout routines are based on whatever information we can compile through our research (even if we cannot find any at all; in which case we build them based on the celebrities aesthetics and use what we've seen from other celebrities in the past); and we do not actually train all of these celebrities (hence why you see quotes and information shared from their actual private trainers! :P)
Please also note that character workouts are all INSPIRED BY the characters they are written for.

Don't worry: that crazy lady we're holding up isn't going to try to teach you anything about fitness and nutrition; she's just our mom.
What started as one man on a mission to unleash as many superhumans into this world as possible has turned into an army of people transforming on a daily basis.
I've shared some of the numbers earlier, but we literally have six million people come to the site for workouts every single year, have had over half a million people optin to our newsletter to download workouts and become a part of the team (which I'll give you another opportunity to do below), and have thousands and thousands of happy customers continuing to unleash their inner superhumans in a community that they can always come back to with their lifetime memberships.
