How My Rating System Works:
IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! — This book was incredible. Comparable to my love for Harry Potter and Game of Thrones. The characters were amazing, well portrayed, and had distinct voices. The plot of the book was unique, and I personally found it really interesting. The author’s writing style and voice is also really important to me. I can see myself rereading this book multiple times. Highly Recommend!
REALLY GOOD! — This book was a really enjoyable read. I really, really liked it. There might have been something I just thought was missing. Or there may be nothing wrong with the book, and it just didn’t blow me away. I would recommend this book to most people and think most people would really enjoy it. Go out and get this!
GOOD! — This book was good. I didn’t love it and I didn’t dislike it. There maybe have been a few things that bothered me while reading this book and it may have been slow in parts. I would still probably recommend this book to a person whose tastes I felt it fit better.
I LIKED SOME THINGS, BUT THE REST WAS MEH — There were probably a few moments that I liked. This rating is often reserved for books that I feel are lacking in some areas—writing, characterization, and/or problematic plot lines.
WAS NOT FOR ME — I disliked this book and had several issues with it. There wasn’t anything about the book that I enjoyed.
